Andy Williams is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, real estate developer, and the founder of Rebuilding the Fort. He built the platform through real development experience and direct collaboration with cities across Texas.
His track record includes over 1,000 units of tax credit housing, build-to-rent communities, single-family portfolios, workforce housing rehabilitation, and infill townhome development.
Williams spent 24 months in direct engagement with city managers, housing authorities, and economic development leaders — listening to what cities actually need. Those conversations revealed a consistent pattern: cities want housing production, but they lack development capacity and practical strategies.
The early research and development of the model was self-funded and executed through real projects. The result is a tested redevelopment framework now ready to scale nationally.
